Not a coder like many veterans on this forum so if there is an add-on or program within Kodi that gives me easy access to a few other backgrounds even if it's not 4K Remux works fine on the One X, though I would advice you to install Kodi and maybe on top of that the Kodi Plex Plugin. Streaming 4K Remux using Kodi on a One X works flawlessly for me. I use Real Debrid tough. I have to agree the Shield TV works smoothly and menus on the One X don鈥檛 most of the time. Moreover, it might be easier to play 4K H.265 files on Xbox Series X through the following solutions.

All 4k HEVC files I tried caused Kodi to crash. A 4k h264 file played fine using software decoding. I am pretty sure that the HEVC playback issue is caused by Kodi running out of memory.
